What do you think of my chemical lineup?

I am pretty new to this site and need some help. I have a 2008 black Infiniti G37s with some light swirls. I have tried to be careful but I must have looked at it wrong. I picked up a UDM with the following chemicals. Here is my plan, let me know what you think of it and feel free to provide your opinions. I got this far by reading this forum and some brief discussions with friends

1)Optimum Poli-Seal – with an aggressive pad to remove the swirls (maybe twice a year)

2)Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze – to fill in any swirls that are left and help finish the clear coat off. (maybe once every 6-8 wks)

3)Danase wet glaze – whenever the mood strikes. It says that it is good to go on top or underneath glazes and waxes so it should be fine on top of the moose

4)P21s carnauba on top of the Danase for a little extra protection and to bring a tear to my eye when I look at the ride.

5)ONR to wash (2 buckets, all MF towels) and ONR QD strength between washes.

I also have some Optimum Opti-seal and spray wax. I was using these products but not sure how they fit with the above plan. Maybe I can use them when I don’t feel like busting out the UDM.

I am still looking for a bug remover, tire/wheel cleaner and tire shine chemicals (have BM tire wet but would like something better). Suggestions?

What do you guys think?

Thank you for all the help.

Cheers,

Todd

PS - With DMW's suggestion and a little research, I have bought Optimum Polish as well.

Thanks,

Todd

With the OP i'd try a white pad first to see if that removes the swirls cause your paint is soft and then step up to the orange or a more aggresive pad if that doesn't work.

For a bug remover I use the Pinnacle bug sponge and it works great.

I haven't found a wheel cleaner that has been to my liking yet but I ordered some Griot's garage wc and it's got good reviews so hopefully that will work well.

As for the tire shine I like megs insane shine aerosol.

Good luck with the detailing.

Awesome. Thanks for the help guys. I am hoping to give it a go in the next few days. I am sure that will generate more questions.

Thanks again,

Todd
