that was the Taiwanese detail franchise I was talking about...see the wax name is cool too -nano wax



that's why at first I thought Fire glaze is just a made up name

Scottwax - Can you go straight from Vanilla Moose or RMG to Acrylic Jett, or do you need Prime in between? Thanks.

I probably wasn't very clear when I worded my post. Let me tweak it slightly...

Poli-Seal, Vanilla Moose or RMG, Meguairs #81 or #3, under carnuabas; Prime or PB's Polish w/Sealant if I am using Acrylic Jett.

The directions on Acrylic Jett only specify 'proper prep' as a base but I think it works best over Prime and PwS. Seems okay over Poli-Seal too. I think using it over VM/RMG or any similar product with wetting oils would compromise durability.

What would you use over wetting oils then? A carnauba?



I have never used a glaze, but have been wanting to. What is the rule of thumb for topping glazes?



What would you top RMG with Scott?

Most of the traditional glazes seem to work best with a carnauba. However, many of the new glazes are polymer based so they can be topped with sealants (FK 300, CG EZ Creme Glaze, Menzerna FTG, etc.)
