Hey guys! I have used 80 just last night at it is great I might not have enough for a detail im going to do for a family freind. I will use 83 with an orange cutting pad which usually leaves me some nice hazing. I have used 9 but it just doesnt seem to have enough of what im looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have:

83
Hi temp Med cut
Hi temp Lt cut
9

Thanks Guys

Greg

#9 should be okay, you're just concerned with removing any marring left by 83. Sometimes it isn't even necessary to follow it, but if marring becomes an issue 9 should do a decent job. I don't have experience with the Hi-temp line so maybe someone else can give some insight on those. Another option would be to step down to a less aggressive pad and polish the area again to remove the marring. Hope this helps.

I usually use 83 with a light cuting pad and then step down to a polishing pad. Im just needed a polish to remove the hazing from 83. I will go with the 9.

Having only used #83 one time on my daughters Maroon 1999 Saturn, I'm certainly no authority on its use, but....
When I used it with a Meg's polishing pad, I didn't feel I needed any abrasive product after it. I went right to my AIO (polishing pad) and followed it with UPP (finishing pad) and it looked great.

I use DACP all the time and usually follow it up with either #80 or FPII for the micromarring.

Menzerna FP II or SSR1 work well for me after DACP or any moderately abrasive polish.

Yes 80 does work great. NOrah gave me a sample that i used part of to do my car and i dont think i will have enough for the car i need to do. I will probably do the #9 like i usually do. i sometimes have to do a couple passes but thats when i get alot of marring. I guess what i was looking for is any alternatives. I might try the Hi temp light cut. I dont think i have ever used it. I have had it for about a half a year to so it time to break that out.

yea if u have a problem with it just follow it up with #9 that would work...or 80 will work wonders. since lots of people use them hand and hand
