I can get them at work for $0.042 at work is that good??

That seems like a decent price. You can probably find a cheaper price from a professional printer.

I get 1000 Tri-Folds printed, front and back, and folded for $63.

I was looking at color printing prices for my tri-folds, and I finally decided to pop for a color laser printer. I'm glad I did. I got a Minolta printer for $800. A tri-fold machine is another $99. The duplexer for the Minolta printer, which I will get soon, is $300. When I figured the cost of toner, paper and the initial investment, I will be making color tri-folds on nice paper stock for about $.065. That's pretty darn cheap!

i pay .60 for one side color on any paper using a kodak digital photo quality copier (i cant remember the name of it), and it is .07 for the black. that gives me great looking tri-folds on nice paper for .67 each, and the guy usually gives me a little bit of a deal if i print alot. Also on my brochures, i left a space where i attach a business card using white photo corners (the little triangle stick on holders). that adds another cent or 2. If anyone knows anything cheaper for one side color, one b/w i would love to hear about it. i can also show you what i have created if you pm me.

I just did one sided basic flyers in black ink. I think I paid about $20 per thousand...it's been a long time since I used flyers though, so I don't remember exactly.
