What color is the best to paint the garage for detailing? I was thinking every white or very light grey? Do I want falt or glossy paint too? Also, the garage is painted right now, but it is in very bad shape that is why I am painting it. Should I use primer first over the other paint? It is an off white right now, but peeling real bad in spots.

I recomend a medium gray kinda like i think it is called batleship gray. Gloss would make it look shiney. I dont know tho.

I would say for walls White, Ceiling white and floor grey...

Or everything red!:shocked Just my $02.

Yes, use a primer. A friend of mine owns a house painting business, and usually always recommends using a primer. It blocks the old paint, and probably will require less coats of the new paint.:bounce

I agree with Bill, white walls and ceiling and a light grey floor. The white walls and ceiling will help with the lighting and the floor will give it the "professional" look. :up

Make sure to use 2-part Epoxy on the floor.:up

on the walls and ceiling with white trim moulding, cabinets and doors. Grey floor paint and new insulated white overhead door. I also put in 8- 2 bulb flour. fixtures so light is not an issue!:xyxthumbs

Once I get a handle on the digi-cam I'll post a pic. I think I would do it exactly the same if I started over!
