What can't you use ONR on?

I don't think this requires a third bottle of plain water. Clean with OPC, then rinse with the ONR solution. It will do a better job of cleaning the OPC residue than plain water would anyway.

Ah, brilliant! The point of the kit is to keep it as simple as possible, removing a bottle is exactly the direction I'm trying to go...

That said, having a water bottle, it doesn't sound like adding too much and having something around without a bunch of chemicals in it... But, the water bottle is definitely optional. As is the OPC 3:1 bottle if you've got some protection on your paint (kit is also for exterior use). And then really, the ONR bottle is optional if you don't have any protection on your paint. Could just run around with OPC 3:1 and water...

And, thanks for chiming in Scottwax!

Only thing left is instructions for agitation.

I know with Folex to spot clean carpet, you agitate the chemical with your finger then blot with a MF. I'm thinking I'm going to say do that method with soft fabrics, like carpet, upholstery, the felt like stuff that goes on the ceiling in cars (think it's called the headliner). But then say just rub the chemical in with MF on harder materials, like leather, seat belts, dash, steering wheel...

I just did a quick check on optimumcarcare.com and their description sounds pretty much like what I remember people saying on this board in the past.

Opti-Clean basically is ONR, only with added polymers that do more lubricating. I'm going for cleaning in this application, don't care about making stuff more lubricated or glossy. So my product here would be ONR, not Opti-Clean.

Love ONR as a glass cleaner. It cleans them streak free on the outside so I started using it on the inside. Works great.

Cleans the interior and door jam great too.

Well let's see.......I've used it on counter tops, fridge doors, walls, table tops, washing machine, dryer.....oh and an awesome squeaky clean ear cleaner!

I would agree that ONR has many uses. But, I don't find it to be very useful on interiors other than for windows. I love it as a window cleaner. Seems to work regardless of the humidity.

I also use it as a waterless/or rinseless wash...but most my washes are traditional. I've never tried it on leather. Most the leather I clean needs more than just a wipe with ONR, ha.

I bet it works great on granite. I currently use a mild car wash mix in a spray bottle but when I get ONR I'll certainly try it!
