What are you using PRE-FPII

What polish/cpmpound are you using via PC or rotary before Menzerna Final Polish II to remove the scratches and swirls that Final Polish II will not work on?



I have used SSR 2.5 and like it. I also have used 3M Perfect-it III compound, old reliable. I ask because I dont have a car now that is damaged enough to test.

Poorboy's SSR2.5 or Optimum Polish; I've been using Optimum Polish a lot though because it doesn't dust as much as SSR2.5 and usually finishes LSP ready, I just wish it cut as fast as SSR2.5 does.

Yep. I think so.

IP for me. Sometimes I use DACP (#83) as I find it tad stronger than IP but I will still follow that with FPII.

IP all day long! Depending on what I'm working on OHC will replace IP.

Ever try Optimum?

Not yet. Still have a decent amount of IP left. If I run out and can't find more IP from a member at a decent price, I will try the Optimum.
