What are you putting on your car to prep for the winter?

Ed, how do you like 21 (durablity/shine/depth)? I'd like to try it, but I don't want to buy a big thing of it.

KAIO 1x KSG 2x and P21S 1x. I have never used any of them before during winter so I will guess I will find out how they last. Did the same thing system to my dads car as well.

For me, max durability and protection is the top agenda for the salty, sandy, cold ***, touchless car wash filled winters here.....looks are a distant second.

So this year it's Prime, then 3x AJ Trigger, then my new Collinite 476 which should arrive tomorrow in the mail. Hopefully that'll hold well 'till spring.

Previously I used Klasse twins and coated with a layer or two of some Blitz wax. That would still bead enough to show there was something still left come March. Figured this year was finally time to modernize.

3x of Z5pro on the wifes car, I just got to figure out when I will get it done. She needs a mild polish.

Beater already has 3x of Z2pro from 7 weeks ago.

QEW washes in the garage and Z8 2x a month.

I hope to survive the terrible GA winter with this setup. :nervous2: :doh

living in so cal, orange county, the winter really doesnt matter.....i do the same wash weekly or twice a week and wax once a month....excessive yeah, but whatever, my truck looks the best on the block....lol

I love those SoCal fellows, not mentioning any names (RCBuddha), they make me giggle like a little schoolgirl.

"Look, there's a cloud. It must be winter!".

Last winter I used Collinite 845 and it did an admirable job, this winter I might try AIO and the Collinite 476 for a change.

I tell ya, when it hits the low 70's during the day....BRRRRRR!!! Out comes the parka!!!! :p :chuckle:

I will likely be adding 1-2 coats of 105 and some Aquawax layering in there....just gotta find the time.

I've very confident in these products to protect for several months, with little to no babying or upkeep.

I was quite pleased with #21's durability and looks. The durabillity is probably not as good as a few layers of SG, but it's a heck of a lot easier. I think you'd deifnitely be set for winter..especially with a Collinite coat on top of it

Supposed to be a little warmer and drier through the end of the year in the Dallas area, so probably nothing special.
