What are the best product manufactures? (Updated)

I've tried some of the "Sterling Laboratories" stuff Sam Brown sells too. It was a cleaner wax called Green Monster. Wasn't impressed at all. I used to work at a car wash, and we used a lot of Sam Brown in the tunnel.

I've never been crazy about the "customer service" from Chemical Guys. They're difficult to get hold of, and aren't worried about helping their customers.

I'm mostly Megs. They have an extensive range, that easy tobuse, and performs as described. I also use part of the Rupes system, some Menzerna, Optimum, Duragloss, and Hex Logic pads. The pads are the only thing I'll buy from CG, because I love the Hex face for cutting and polishing. I like flats for waxing.

Not sure where he is exactly - but if you can contact - David Fermani - who posts here and lives in Michigan, you will have found one of the best all around Detailers in those parts... He has a big shop now in Michigan.. Look him up here in the user name section... PM him sometime..

When you decide what products you want, a dealer/reseller/distributor, whether a local brick-and-mortar store or an on-line business/company/enterprise can be just as important where you get the products from. Sometimes you may want to order products directly from the manufacturer OR that may be the ONLY way you can get the product (like Polish Angel, Garry Dean, or hard-to-find Jeff's Werkstatt). There are a number of internet resellers for car-care products that Autopians use and you can Google that title OR search this forum form them. Customer service is a key component to internet sales, sometimes outweighing a cheaper price over a competitor. I would highly suggest storing the list in internet Favorites if you use windows Explorer; I know I have a folder of just those companies. Here's a few to begin with:
