In a recent CR issue. they rated Valeo 600 tops, RainX Lattitude second, with Anco 31 series and Michelin Rainforce as 3rd and 4th. Based upon the scoring (just a few points), it is not clear if there is any meaningful difference in top 10 blades. Often they try to make a difference when there is not much difference. They do not mention wiper noise -- one of my criteria.
Per their report, the RainX did not clean as well as many other blades but lasted more than 6 months so I guess it is more consistent.
What I get out of it is that you can buy 2 Anco's for the price of a pricey beam blades. I think others speak more highly of beam blades.
Other factors: what brand of wiper fluid used, etc. These variables could affect results.
