What are best product manufacture's?

Hey guys I am relatively new to this forum and this is my first post so please take it easy on me lol. I have been detailing my personal cars and friends cars for some time now. I started out just using the stuff at Oriely's auto parts such as Mcguires and Mothers a few years ago. Then I went to a Washtenaw Community College and took their autobody courses and learned of 3M and Sam Brown Company I liked both companies and began using them because of the deals I got through the school. Currently I am done with school I have a full time job and am detailing on the side (weather permitting, I live in Michigan) as a hopefully soon to be "start-up" business. I discovered Chemical Guys not too long ago but I haven't really done much research to who is out there as far as product manufacture's. SO as the quickest way to do a little research, I am hoping that some of you professional's and detailing enthusiast/detailing connasuers can help me find the BEST products and prices on the market so I can see if I am making the right choice using no 100% CG products. Can you help me?! Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

There are going to be a lot of opinions on this subject.

Personally, one of the best ways to learn about these products is to read and be active in this forum. There's an incredible wealth of information about tools, technique and product being discussed here. I've been a member of this forum and some others for about 3y now, and what I know now is astronomical compared to what I knew then, and I still know much less than most of the active members on this forum.

Read and participate. Best way. If you have the time, money and commitment, take a detailing class with Mike Phillips (or others) to learn the trade.

As far as products go, most of the products sold through autopia or autogeek are quality products that a lot of professionals use. However, not all products within a product line are going to be 5 stars. There are hit and miss products. Read the reviews and perhaps get some samples from users.

My OPINION

I like Menzerna polishes followed by HD and Maguire's. I have some CarPro Essence to try. I have Rupes ones too.

In general I like the Meguiar's cleaners, Wolfgang, Blackfire and carpro. I'm also a fan of gtechniq, Gyeon and 22PLE.

Lots of good stuff out there. Read read read.
