Hey,

I need some help restoring and maintaining my TERRIBLE exterior rubber & plastic trims around my wipers, windows, mirrors and sunroof. Ive used 'Meguiars All Season Dressing' and 'Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer', but both leave water drop spots and leak after first wash! Ive searched the forum but without success. Here are some pictures:

I really need somebody's help here,

Warren.

In that first picture, you'll most probalby have to replace the mirror housing. My friend's Accord has similar issues and you can actually RUB the surface and residue will end up on your finger.

For the wiper area, I've had good results with Black Wow.

BW is good for textured plastic... if you prep it properly, it'll last awhile.

Yeah looking at those side mirrors again, I think they're toast.

If all else fails....re-paint the mirrors. Might be cheaper to have them re-sprayed than replaced.

I've used Meg's "back to black" on very few items...it worked pretty well on some plastics, and didn't do much on others. Now that I think about it...both of the failures were Nissans...You have a G35 right...so maybe stay away from Back to black.
