what adhesive at Lowes?

I have a piece of trim I took off that went on with the plastic tabs, in getting it off, I broke some. The tabs will still fit in the slots so I need an adhesive to stick the trim back on. I want it to be semi perm as I might want to take the trim off again later and paint. So the super glues are out. I'm thinking GE silicone seal II sold in caulking tubes. It's gotta get tacky quick...any other suggestions that meet this need?

thanks!

Sorry, I know this isn't Lowes. 3M Trim Adhesive would work well but should you decide to take it off, you'll likely need to paint it. We used this in mechanical applications where it was tough to get a gasket to stick. We called it Gorilla Snot and it would stick just about anywhere but does need 60 degree temp to cure. Most better Auto Parts Stores (certainly NAPA) will have it, any body and paint store. The "Zone" might have it. It's made in both black and yellow maybe other colors as well. A thin line will go a long way.

If I absolutely had to take the trim back off I might look for a very thin double sided tape. Most hardware stores have a couple of different types. 3M also makes this. It's about double the thickness of clear one sided tape. It's not the padded foam type.

I agree^^ They also have a double sided tapes if you want to go that route. It is available locally but I don't know about lowes.

if you want to take it off again, i'd go with the double sided automotive tape. it will not come off unless you pull it off. i used it installing window shades on my truck over ten years ago,and still holds great.

actaully guys, I had a tube of hi temp silicone that worked great after acetone washing and ISP'ing both trim and grille...thanks..
