What are your opinions on Optimum Polish. I didn't think it was that versatile. Why didn't you use OC or OHC??

Actually OP is very versatile. Ron did that whole project only using OP, excvept for the sealing of course which was done with PS.



The reason Ron chose OP instead of OH or OHC is because of the material he was correcting. Porsche bumpers, well almost all painted bumpers really, can be very difficult to polish as they marr easily.



Using a more aggressive compound would have caused excessive swirling which would of meant more time and more aggressive measures to correct.



So the general rule is to use the least aggressive method first and if that doesn't work then move up the aggressiveness scale.



I just corrected some marks on a black car caused by a small child and a stick....I wet sanded with 3k grit paper, removed the sanding marks with a lambswool pad, OP and then a white pad again with OP to clean up the swirls. So one product when use*d properly is all you need.
