Hey guys, before i continue, let me post some pics of my Nissan X Trail, after using Gold Class Shampoo, Deep Crystal Polish, and #26 Meguiars Wax, i think the shine is quite nice, but like any other autopian, i want MORE. hehe

now before anyone makes any comments on how the license plate is not straight, remember that that is how it was handed to me from the showroom hehe, i fixed it quickly after.

Basically i wanna know what other products should i be using, or processes, but using meguiars products exclusively, for example, should i be layering #26, should i put on a sealant, should i use final Detail after i finish, any help given to help me achieve true shining glory will be greatly appreciated.

In the rare case that you think that a certain product, like AIO, or PS21s or Pinnacle souveran will make a big difference, let me know!

thanks alot guys, great to be part of this forum :xyxthumbs

Looks pretty good. Next time, you might want to try NXT and top it with #26. I'd wait a day for the NXT to completely cure though.

Hi luke667,

If I chime in and say it looks great..... it could be perceived as bias, but as my personality tends to be one of throwing caution to the wind....

Your work and your results look awesome!

Am I biased?

Yes, of course. All of the cars I detail I use 100% Meguiar’s' products. At least I'm honest about my bias and my results.

Seriously.... good job.

thanks alot mike....well personally i don't mind bias, as i am biased towards meguiars hehe, as that is the main product that is imported into my country, besides Autoglym.

Till now the only advice given has been by Scott, which is to use NXT topped by #26 .....sounds like a plan. Any other recommendations?

You could try a different polish, something like #5 or #7 and then top with #26 or #16 in paste form... that might give you a slight improvement? Or failing that, treat yourself to a PC. ;)

thanks alot guys, think i;ll go wit NXT and #26....

is there a meguiars polish you would recommend i use before the NXT every now and again?

hey luke,

your SUV looks awesome!! very wet and vibrant!

I too am a Meguiars fanatic, thus far I have utilized there products exclusevly on and throughout a customers car or my truck, even the family vehicles. Now if I can only train my friends on it:D

From what I have learned about Meguiars over the years is everything from DACP up to #9 you can go straight to a wax of your discretion. Whether it be NXT, #26, MPPP, #16 etc...

Ok answering to your question about polishing before waxing! I like #7 before anything. I still have some Deep Crystal Polish leftover and it works equally well IMO. Though, alot of other Meguiars guru's like #81 over #7. I personally have never tried #81 thus far, so I can't really comment on how well I like it or how it works.

If I'm removing swirls or small imperfections, I'll just use #9 or SFP with a W-8006 pad on a PC around 4. I use a PC for everything.

Again nice work luke:up 91

Thanks alot for the recommendations and advice, much appreciated, i'll give it a try next time.

Got any pics of your ride? i love those F-150s :D

It looks great! The shine on the grey is really impresive. It's deep! I like #7/#9/#3 followed by #20 or #26. Haven't tried the NXT yet, but I'm sure it would work great too. The
