SO who has best detailers? the east coast or west coast?

simply state if your eastcoast or west coast and why u kick A*s at detailing.

I'm Paul Tso , repping East coast detailers. As always, im holding it down with the finest finishes.

Hmm.. Not a pro detailer (not even close), just someone who was born and raised in NYC, and moved out to Cali in 01. Just a guess, east coasters spend more time on filthy cars, west coasters spend their time perfecting their polishing.

I think folks in SoCal are more conscientious on keeping their cars clean versus NYC. I remember when I lived in NYC, I didn't need a wash unless I couldn't see out my windows!! ;-) Well maybe not that bad... But when I moved out to SoCal, after driving cross country ~3500 miles, I bring it to a hand wash place. I couldn't believe all these clean cars going in for car washes. I had 6 million bugs on my hood, side mirrors, grills, etc. This is one of those places that do 16 cars at a time. The guy that was doing the final touches on the wash spent almost 45 minutes taking the bugs off. I think 3 sets of cars (47) went through before he was done!! I tipped him $20, because it's quite obvious it was something they were not use to. :)

East coast have more gust and glory. We detail under all 4 season.

I remember I detailed in a 32deg weather last year w/only a sweat shirt on :D

Hey, what about that big state in between both coasts, Texas! We have to detail in dust storms, hail, tornadoes, heat, wind, rain, humidity, and the occasional snow storm.

West Coast...feh!

Try detailing in 150 mph winds

:woohoo: to the South when it's humid, the NoEast when it's cold and . . . out West all year round!

:nixweiss So yeah, the west. :closed:

Damn straight! 35 degrees or 105 degrees, we just keep going. :dance

How in the world do you use a spray product like a quick detailer when there are 80mph winds? shoot talk about over spray

Never been to the fair state of Texas, but considering the weather out there, I think you may have a point!

Since we get a lot of bad weather here a well detailed ride on the east coast sure stands out! (well atleast here...)
