Werkstatt AJT question?

Werkstatt AJT question?

I have prime strong and AJ Trigger (AJT . I know Scottwax talked about prime and a few drops etc etc (bookmarked that) and normal AJ (v1 and v2) in several posts.

That being said, how much of the AJT “spray do I on the car panels. Example, one per door, 2 per hood????

Any advise, I would appreciate it.

I always use AJ-T much the same way as I use a QD.....remember that YOU need to get a feel for it, so one squirt..two squirts all depends on how you actually use the sprayer. I use a sweeping motion, whereas some will spray one spot and spread it around.

I spray the AJ Trigger lightly on each panel and spread with MF and then wipe with dry side of the same MF. It only takes 2-3 small MF and about 5-10 minutes to do the whole car. If you go back and do a 2nd layer in the same manner you will get full coverage with very little effort (and it is amazing how little product is used). I have been using the Klasse twins for the last 3 years and been very happy with them but the Prime Acrylic / Acrylic Jett Trigger combo looks better, is simple to apply, and if the durability is even close then I am "all in".

If I were you I would not top the Trigger until you have two or three layers of the Trigger. According to Jeff you can do those all at once but I plan to do a layer after each wash until I get at least two layers of Trigger before I top it with anything. This gives me a chance to get used to the Trigger look and to see how it reacts to washing and layering. You can always top it with a wax but you can't go back to another layer of Trigger over the wax.

You should be able to layer most any wax that is not a cleaner wax but personally don't think there is much benefit to a 2nd layer until the first layer begins to diminish.
