Went back in time today

I used to use Gold Class every month about 1.5yrs ago. It felt like I was spreading Elmer's glue around.

This sums up how I feel about #26 after using P21S and Souveran. Much more difficult application and results are lacking-less shine.

I went through a Malm's phase, and when I had the dealership I bought their polish and wax in one-gallon jugs. Their green (regular) polish is a pretty good general purpose abrasive, but not all *that* user-freindly. Same with their pink #10 glaze. Their liquid wax isn't bad but I've found stuff I like a lot better. It's plenty user-friendly but the depth, shine, and durability leave something to be desired.

I remember when I thought you couldn't do better than Rain Dance. :)

Raindance isn't all that bad. I've often mentioned how my elderly aunt got too old/sick to use #7/#16 and switched to Raindance. When she died her 10 year old (big block :D ) MOPAR was still "showroom" by most people's standards.

(except for the bottle of nufinish that my grandpa swore by, that I leave on the shelf as a reminder of what an aboslutely horrible product some things can be).

Am I the only one that think NUFinish is not that bad? Yes, it doesn't last a year but 3-4 months weren't rare, it doesn't shine better than the competition but looks better than unwaxed, and its finicky in the application and removal, but I find it invaluable in situations where raw cleaning power is needed. In fact, I think of it as the AIO of the masses (with all proportion and respect to Klasse being taken into consideration) I used it as main product for over 18 months in a paint that is in excellent shape today, and I still atributte some of the paint conservation to NUFinish (some durability, and heavy cleaners that didn't allow too much foreign stuff to get into my paint) Or maybe I am just imagining things...... :nixweiss
