Hello,

I will like you to do complete automotive restoration on my father's

1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. The vehicle has no insurance and I am paying

for the repair from my own pocket. The vehicle is with the tow company

and they will have it tow to your workshop for an estimation .

I will be giving you my credit card to put through for an amount of

$2450 and you keep $1000 as deposit for the repairs and have the

remaining 1450 sent to the tow company as they receive payment

upfront, via western union so they can have the vehicle tow down to

your place for proper estimation and repair .Let me know if this is

okay by you and also let me know the types of credit cards that you

accept.I should have preferred to talk to you over the phone but I am

hearing impaired.

Regards,

Teddrick.

Seems legit, should i go for it?

Send me $1000 and I'll tow it for you. You can pocket even more money.

The sad thing is this actually works often enough for these scumbags to keep trying it.

Only $1450 to tow the car all the way from Nigeria? That's a cheap wrecker! ;)

lol...

Scammers keep getting more and more creative [but still stupid]. If ANYONE ever wants you to cash/credit money and return a portion, it is a scam.

I don't know why, but while I'm reading it, I keep picturing this phrase:

I'd like to know who thought it was a good idea to hook up the internet to these broke 3rd world nations.

a couple of years ago my elderly neighbor answered her phone and the voice on the other end says, "granma?" to which she says, "is that you Matthew?" three hours later she was out almost $12,000. at the time she had $24.00 in her checking account and re-mortgaged her house to send money to Canada to bail out her grandson.

^^^DUDE, that's horrible!!!!

Mr. Douglas sent me another email, he must have forgotten the original Mustang debacle:

i will like you to do auto repair and painting for me, my dad had an

accident on his way to visit the family with his 2001 nissan sentra in

another close-by state and presently i am out of this area for an

official assignment that will take months and most importantly i don't

want this to be a limitation to the car fixing. So i will like to know

if you can do the repair and painting?. The vehicle has no insurance

and i am paying for the repair from my own pocket. The vehicle is with

the tow company and they will have to tow it to your workshop for

perfect amount estimation and repair but for now i will like to know

the rough estimation of the total amount this will cost? As i have

attached some pictures of the extent of damages.

Thanks.
