If that's the case I'm glad I did my "Multi Coat UPP Winterization Plan " this past winter. This year I'll do one car with UPP and the other with EX-P!
Well, I used some vinegar/water mix on the car tonight and then washed in with car wash. It is much improved. If you look very closely, you can see some faint waterspots. I think to the average eye it isn't going to show at all. I'm pleased with the results.
Whatever they used, like Steve says - it must have been nasty stuff. I've not had water spotting from rain on the truck and it's a year old now. Ok, well, except one time and whatever that was, it left the white and black waterspots on the hood.
Anyway, all would be well enough if they, the dealership, hadn't put a scratch on the side of the car - right through the paint to the metal. Ain't it special.
I much appreciate all the help from everyone on this. Tomorrow I call the dealership and tell them they put a scratch on my car. They will tell me they didn't. Like I don't know every inch of my car and truck with all the detailing I do on them. Right.
