Weld Evo Wheels

I tried searching on this site and couldnt find any suggestions for Weld wheel cleaner and sealant. I know my wheels are forged aluminum and triple chrome plated and have been told to be careful what products I use on them. I have been using "Hot Wheels" wheel cleaner when I am washing the car to break up the brake dust and road grime and just wash using normal car wash soap and dry with a clean rag. I would like to use some sealant on them before winter comes around. Any suggestions?

Jenna, it sounds like you are caring for them quite well. If you want to add some protection to your wheels which will help keep them cleaner and easier to clean you can use a number of DC's favorite sealants (ie. AIO, UPP, EX-P, PB wheel Sealant etc...) I have used a few different sealants on wheels and my favorite is Poorboy's Wheel sealant. Also, it would be a good idea to polish the wheels first with something like AIO or Poorboy's Pro Polish and then use a sealant.

Here are some pics of wheels that I done using Poorboy's Pro Polish and Wheel Sealant.

Thankyou for the input....I have been wanting to look into the PoorBoys sealant. I wil have to track down a good polish....what would you say is the best bet?

Get some Pro Polish when you order the Wheel Sealant. It's very versatile stuff and can do a whole lot of things very well once you learn all of it's eccentricites (mostly just don't use too much). Additionally, I have heard good things about Optimum Polish, I have a bottle on order but from what I've read it's about the most versatile polish on the market right now.

Optimum is one I have been definately been wanting to try, but like tubafeak said it is extremely versatile. A little goes a long way!! I use it for chrome trim as well and it works fantastic.

I've been using the Mother's Power ball and Power Polish on my polished wheels. It really makes it a lot less hassle to polish them up. I'm pretty sure the Weld wheels are polished with no clear as well. I'll be getting some wheel sealant here soon as well.
