Congrats man!!! I'm happy to say that I don't have one of those and I'm kinda glad.

Best of luck to you both!!

Since I can't edit the first post, I'll just add the link here. Click here for the happy family. This is definitely the last one. Going from one kid to two kids wasn't really an adjustment at all. I moved the office downstairs and joined it with my wife's craft room, but other than that it was smooth sailing. The third kid is like going from none to one all over again. Stuff that has gone through two kids already is getting worn out, I've got my eye on a minivan, we have to restack the bedrooms and there will be some sharing going on for awhile, and attention wise there is definitely a lot of change. I am getting a little satisfaction in telling my wife that I told her the Pilot wasn't going to be good for three car seats. Sure enough, it doesn't work well for that. I can put one on either end of the middle row, but once you put the booster seat in the middle, the seatbelt buckle is pretty hard to reach. I can put him in the third row, but then there is the issue of losing all that back room. Fortunately the book value on the Pilot is higher than an Odessey of the same year, so a trade might be in order. I love the Pilot, but as I reminded my wife, I have wanted an Odessey from the beginning. Those are just slick vans. The new ones are really sweet, but I'll take an 04 or 05 and be happy. :) The Pilot is paid for so I should have some negotiation room.

Congrats Jngrbrdman !!! :bigups

I have 2 and my wife now wants a third. I cannot let her see this thread !!! ;)

Three is a nice round number for kids. Especially if you go in the order we went in. Brother, sister, brother. Every kid needs a big brother and every kid needs a younger sibling. My kids each have something the others don't have. Erik has a little sister, Adrienne has a little brother, and Parker has a big sister. The fun part is going to be keeping them all equally entertained. lol

I would never presume to tell you how many kids a family should have. I will tell you that in my family's experience the 3rd child really changed my world. One is great, two parents learning to take care of kid shared responsibility no problem. Two is good, parents have learned how to take care of kids, one for each of them, shared responsibility no problem. Three all hell breaks loose, two parents no one to take care of third child, no one wants responsibility big problems. Seriously though it was kind of like that it's no big deal as long as parents out number or are equal to number of kids. Once you're out numbered you're in trouble and the third one is a spoiled whiner, cute girl but a whiner none the less. She's now 14 in 8th grade and 6'3", I've still got her in height slightly but her hands, reach and feet are bigger/longer than mine, she can touch the rim and I can't anymore.

^^ Yeah, those are my feelings two. I have no idea why my parents chose to have 4 kids, but IMHO three is enough for any family. Not like the lunatics across the street with six kids or their neighbors with five kids. (all boys, I might add) They must have totally lost their minds at this point, because the family with five kids are talking about what they are going to name the sixth. Three is good. I think hope we'll survive. :D
