Bill that's what I'm trying to do. I have a route marked off that is 4.6 miles. I've walked it for years until recent surgeries. I'm trying to get back into it and do it 6 days a week. Wife wanted to walk the same route so that's where the 9 came in.I'm going walking too,only 4 miles though, while the cars sit in the garage.
My best advice? Get a good walking stick, makes a difference.
