Weekly maintenance of leather seats

What is recommended for weekly maintenance? I normally just wipe down the interior with either a diluted mix of 303 cleaner or 1Z cockpit premium, but just skip the seats because I don't know if either of these is a good idea for leather. I'd think the CP would be good, since it would remove some of the oils and dirt that the leather picked up, and would leave behind some protection, but its not greasy at all. Would plain water be better? Dry towel? I'm sure there are good cleaners from LM, etc., but they are way too expensive (for me anyway) to use weekly. I'd most prefer to use the CP because I already use it on everything else and I'm trying to thin down my assortment of products. Thanks,

I only clean the seats monthly. And now that the weather is not too cold in NY, after I clean I also condition them.

For a quick cleaning I really like the one time use Strong Cleaner cloths (in a sealed bag) from Leather Masters. Although expensive, they can clean 2 seats really well.

Although i have never used it yet, i bought a leather cleaner/shampoo from Duragloss that does not dry out the leather bc it contains lanolin i think. It protects as it cleans. Will try it soon.

As far as conditioners, I like: LM, Zaino 10, & Tanners.

Dont like Zymol, Lexol or Pinnacle.

In the past, i solely used Pinnacle but there r better products for less money.

I dont think that Pinnacle does a good job of penetrating the leather as other products do.

I also use 303 every 2 weeks or so to protect the seats if they are clean since it has UV protectant in in it.

I clean the seats in my wife's Tribute - not evey week - but every few weeks. Woolite/water 20:1. Works great.

I personally don't think it's the greatest idea to use a cleaner on your leather weekly. You really shouldn't need anything more than a damp cotton towel to gently lift away any light weekly accumulation.

Weekly, I wipe down with a MF sprayed lightly with QID to remove dust and loose dirt. I use a detergent (LM) every two to three months and then follow with a protectant (also LM).

I agree. During my weekly wash I will wipe down my leather seats and dash with a moist cloth and then do some spot vacuuming. Quarterly I will use a dedicated leather cleaner, then a conditioner then a protectant. The protectant makes future wipe downs much easier and more effective I think.

I do the same about every 2nd or 3rd wash. 20:1 Woolite/Water then wipe off with a damp cloth.
