Weekend wins>>>>

This past weekend I had the chance to travel down to Seaford Delaware to do a show put on by one of the local VFW lodges. I have been to this show last year and really liked it. Lots of nices cars, domestics, antiques, muscle, the whole nine yards. A very nice show with tons of nice people, great prizes, and tons of beer and food. The show had about 120 cars and I did pretty well. There were 3 cars in the Import Class.

I ended up winning:

Best Import

Best Engine

Best of Show

It was nice to see some of the faces of the Vette and Hot Rodders as a Nissan 300ZX walked away with the win. They are having another show at the end of September. Its definitely something to look forward to.

Congratulations on the awards, your car looks incredible :bigups

You've really been sweeping up the awards at these shows, can you give us an estimate of how many awards you've won total with the 300zx?

A huge :2thumbs: Pat!!

Yep, no surprise here either :D

Ah, this is the first time I'm seeing your transportation for the Z :up

Congrats, Pat. But no big surprise to us. :bigups

What he said!!! :2thumbs:

The fact that your Z took Best in Show says a lot about those judges. They judged on the merits of your detail work and the tastefulness of your mods...not the fact that a car has 3 carburetors and was built when LBJ was in office!! It seems whenever I participate in "mixed" shows (imports, domestics, muscle and street rods) that the old muscle cars and street rods will almost always walk away with Best in Show...even if it looks like the car was modified by Bubba the backyard mechanic and detailed by the local BP gas station wash!! It's refreshing to see that some judges still grasp what "Best of Show" means...kudos to them and you Pat!! :up

What was your process?

The car is constantly maintained, garage kept, and trailered. I usually use:

Vanilla Moose

Souveran

This spring I did:

Megs #80

VM

Souveran

For QD's I use:

Quickshine

Crystal Mist

EO Wet Shine on Tires

CD2 Engine Detailer on engine

Novus on plastic

Spray and Wipe to maintain during summer.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
