Weekend project, opinions?

This weekend I wanted to detail the IS (black) with the following:



Sonus - light swirl remover

Sonus - polish

Klasse AIO

then Sunday

P21S top coat.



Is it okay to do this by hand, or before I put in the effort should I go ahead and purchase the Ultimate Detailing Machine and wait until that arrives before tackling this?
 
Sure you can do it by hand, but I doubt that your polishing step will really remove any swirls or anything. If you really want to remove the swirling or imperfections, a machine is probably the only way to go.. unless you have a LOT of elbow grease and spend many many hours polishing by hand.



Waxing by hand is fine.
