Weekend of detailing

Finally have some time this weekend to fix what the Chicago winter did to the Stang - scratches, tar, water spots, etc. Not a pretty sight, especially on a black car. My process hasn always been as follows (overkill for most people):

1) Clay bar

2) Menzerna "Intensive Polish" with orbital buffer

3) Menzerna "Final Polish II" with orbital buffer

4) Beer applied with right hand to mouth

4) Clearkote "Red Moose MAchine Glaze" with dual-action buffer

5) Poorboy's "EX Sealant" by hand

6) Poorboy's "Natty's PasteWax" by hand

7) More beer

This whole process is definitely a PITA, but its better than working.

And yes... I know....

I have used that exact same process with same products on my black truck....It seems worth it in the end doesnt it? The RMG is fabuolous.

i think you applied too much product in the first #4...since there are two #4 steps...you lost count of what you were doing.

This looks similar to the process I'm going to be using in a couple of weeks, minus the beer and substituting Menzerna's FMJ for the sealant.

First time trying any of the Menzerna line, and I have no idea if the RMG will make any noticeable difference on a white car, but what the hey... ;)
