Wedding Anniversary. Any Ideas?

a.k.a. Troy@DetailCity
First of all let me mention that it was Sheila's birthday yesterday I think she has it hidden on here.

It is also our 15th wedding anniversary on the 19th and I still don't have anything planned.

Got any ideas? What things have you done for your anniversaries?

Why not come up here in the great white north. 11/2 inches of snow over night. Over near Charles W, there is a small ski area. lots of ice on the gravel roads, and 11 degrees out. My folks are going your way, at least to Florida any way, in March. RANDAL

a card, a handshake and her own bedroom where there is no snoring :rofl:lol2:

my wife likes gift cards to go shopping:passout::passout:

no specific suggestions... just this.

A- Don't try to combine it with her Christmas gift
B- Don't be too cheap

I would hate to hear that your kids would be fatherless :rofl

What type of stuff does she like? I know someone that could get her a pretty good deal on some detailing supplies.

Yeah give her a gallon of concentrated APC and a few MF's so she can clean the house.:rofl

That will shorten the man's life expectancy

Sunset dinner at Armani's at the Tampa Hyatt is almost unequalled!

Troy - you'll be set for another 11 months and 29 days! AND, if you combine it with jaybs' suggestion you'll be in a public place so they'll be plenty of witnesses of her crime of passion!

Some personal one on one time away from your day to day grind....nice dinner and a movie would come to mind, maybe make it a night in a hotel some place up the road....I'm sure there are a few on the water in FL...

When it comes to gifts and the likes of that...most couples at this stage of marriage would like time alone rather than a shopping card, blouse, etc...That's my take and what the wife and I do every year for ours....it will be 15 for us this next year

all you can eat king crab leg buffet :drool:with a game of volleyball afterwards:yay :lol2:
(inside joke)

HA!,

No actually that would have come in handy the years 3-6! If you survive the first decade...things get easier and better! Marriage is AWESOME!!!!

Take her on a cruise my man. :bigups
Saving up my nickles and dimes for my 10th anniversary. :D
You could also take her to a bed and breakfast.
My wife set on of these up on our 5th.

Just kidding, Sheila :yourrock

Watches are the modern 15th anniversary gift, I gave my wife a Movado on ours. That wa s 11 years ago! Our 27th is coming up in May. Congratulations Troy and Sheila, it takes a lot of dedication to make a marriage work.

First off...congrats!!!!!

My suggestion...take a short trip to Las Vegas!!!! My wife and I LOVE it out there. You can probably catch a pretty good deal if you watch the airfares. Vegas is always a great time...lots to see even if you don't gamble much...just walk around and check out the hotels/casinos!

Good luck with whatever you decide!

:bigups

How about a new mop or broom for her? Maybe a new apron for the kitchen? :)

Why do I think I'll be paying for that one....

Vegas would be nice. I sure would like to play in some poker tournaments out there. You know, so I can pay for the trip and pay off the house while I'm at it.;)

Some excellent suggestions.:bigups

Isn't the 15th Anniversary when you're suppose to get her the stainless steel blender with the food processing attachment?:hmmm:

Happy Birthday Sheila!

Happy Anniversary to the both of you! :bigups

As far as a suggestion, my wife and I like to reserve a cabin in the mountains of Tennessee to celebrate, very relaxing.

Wishing you many more Happy Anniversaries to come!
