WD-40... who knew!

WD-40, Fluid Film, etc. swell some automotive exterior rubber trims.

Some part of rubber trims have a shape that can hold liquid. So be careful so that WD-40 does not stay there.

I'm pretty sure that spraying the kid's slide could become an issue... Might get you a spot on funniest home videos or a quick trip to the hospital.

I've used it for tar removal when I ran out of bug and tar remover.

No one mentioned that it will safely and effectively remove magic marker permanent ink from painted surfaces.

I few years back I was marking some paneling for a basement remodeling project. I had the sheet of paneling on the dryer and ooops. There was a big permanent black mark on the new dryer. Wifey was not happy. :chuckle: WD40 took it right off.

Interesting read... My dad used WD-40 on everything when I was coming up. Car not running right... spray wd-40 on the engine, plumbing issues... nothing a little wd-40 can't fix. Got a cold, back pain, toothache, WD-40 to the rescue!
