Autopia fire/rescue.
Today's detail was a 1990 Corvette . It was in pretty good condition for an 18 year old car. There was some RIDS on the hood and passenger side door.
The process:
The process:
- The car was clean, all it needed was a QD and some claying on the lower body panels. Meg's blue detailing clay was used.
- The RIDs were wet sanded with 3M 2000 grit and polished out with Meguiar's #83 via rotary with a Sonus swirlbuster pad.
- The rest of the car was buffed with Meg's #83 via PC with the Sonus Swirlbuster pad.
- The car was then polished with Meg's #9 version 2.0 via PC with a DAS polsihing pad, followed by Meg's #3 via PC with a Meguiar's yellow polishing pad.
- LSP for the paintwork was Meg's #21 Synthetic sealant via PC and a DAS
- Wheels and exhaust tips were polsihed with Never Dull magic wadding polish and sealed with Meg's #21.
- Meg's Endurance on the tires.
- Glass was cleaned with Stoner's IG, exterior glass treated with Rain X
- The interior was vacuumed, interior panels cleaned with Megs Interior QD.
