Wax/Sealant on arrows?

COME AT ME BRO
Here is an off the wall question - one of my other passions is archery & archery hunting. I target shoot quite a bit, and with that comes pulling the arrows out of the targets. Some targets are almost impossible to pull the arrow out of. This brings me to my question: Will a wax or sealant effect a carbon arrow in any way? There is no paint/clearcoat/gelcoat or anything on the arrows themselves. I have read that this will make them easier to pull out of a target, but I would be concerned about damaging the arrow, or changing it's flight characteristics. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this? Maybe a manufacturer might know something about the effects of the LSP on the carbon arrow?
