wax nxt question

hey guys, 2 days ago i waxed my black car, and it came out great, but after i washed it 2 days later, it didnt look as shiney as it did, when i first waxed it, am i doing somthing wrong? i also have the nxt spray wax, but i dont know if i should use it every time after a wash.

Try some synthetic sealant instead. I find it works a lot better on my black car than NXT and last a lot longer too. What soap are you using?
 
U are not doing anything wrong. Nxt loses its initial finishing riched glossy shine results quite fast. As it does really have a good riched glossy shine when u applied & buffed off.



I sometime notice if it rains the next day after applied Nxt, it will lose all it's shine & slickness. But if it doesn't rain then it holds up for 3-4 days. Altho after Nxt loses its shine, I still see some beading and protection. I guess u can use the spray wax every wash or get another sealant. Get M21 instead. Or wait for M21 2.0 to come out soon. :)

NXT is a synthetic sealent. ;)



And yes, what soap are you using and how much?



Personally, I find NXT too shiny when first applied to black. I prefer it after a week or so, as some of the depth returns. However, I've had no issues with NXT durability or looks in general. I think it's a decent sealant, but #21 is better to my eyes.
 
You are experiencing the normal reaction of NXT to detergent used is washing. If you do not want it to happen use a milder detergent to clean or use less detergent in the water.



Off topic somewhat and an obvious thread jacking. Does anyone know what changes to NXT are made in the forthcoming NXT2?

Alfisti - thanks for the hook-up, the thread read like a fan club for NXT but, did have some information. Thanks again...
 
^^thats probably your problem. You should measure the amount of soap per the directions. Use to much and its possible it could shorten the life of the LSP.
 
Yep, follow the directions. Too much soap is a waste of money and a waste of your LSP. You don't need more soap than recommended (normally 1oz) to clean your car anyway.
 
thaks, ill use the recommended useage, and also will zanio last longer than nxt? im planning to buy zaino products but dont know if its the same shine as nxt

and, is a more involved process. Very important that you follow the directions to the letter when using Zaino products.
