Wax applicators

Nobody uses cotton/terry applicators?

I've been using the Zaino cotton applicators for several years. I find that foam applicators absorb the product too much and are difficult for me to use (although that Viking one looks interesting). Once I coat a dampened cotton applicator it seems to work nicely. No problem with scratches/marring from what I can see. The Zaino appliators have a nice nap and are very soft.

Cleaning is a bit of a PITA though. They never seem to get clean so I find myself buying a bunch and using a new one each time. Gets expensive.

I am wondering about the MF ones. Still debating using them since I've heard good and bad and want try some towels first.

for liquid or paste, i buy from big lots store a 4 pak of yellow sponges for $1.00. they're called multi-purpose applicator pads. at 25 cents a pad its not worth washing it.

i was at big lots and stocked up on these and at 4 for a $1, it can't be beat! i noticed pep boys carries an assortment of sponges, etc... from this same company.
