Water Still Beads

After Washing Car with 3M APC diluted in wash water 4oz to 3 gallons
wipe down panels with IPA 12% solution
also used Dawn in wash water
also wiped down with prep all

After all this water still beads on panels
Is it because there is wax still remaining or is it beading because of the
clear coat finish

Thanks From New Guy Still Learning

Are the beads round or slightly irregularly shaped? I find it's a subtle difference. My BMW will bead no matter what, with no LSP the beads are irregular shaped. If your paint is in very good condition sometimes it will bead. There could be something in the soap that makes it bead as well. You never know what is causing it. That is why it's always recommended to at least go over the car with a paint cleaner to remove all the old LSP.

If your doing any polishing that will remove it as well. You don't have to remove your old LSP before polishing, it will last like a nanosecond with any abrasive polish and not affect the process.

All this being said, Prep All will remove any LSP.

Thank you for the reply
can you tell how to use prep-all diluted or straight
what ratio
thanks

What we really need to know 1st is what wax / sealant you are using and how long has it been on there.

Realistically the only way to fully remove a wax or sealant is by polishing or with a paint cleaner.

Prep All contains all types of solvents. You use it as straight as I am.
