Water spot on Paint

hammondc

Damned pollen!!!
I need a suggestion of product to use on a car I detailing this weekend. It has a lot of water spots and general "crud" on the paint. What should I use to go at this? I was thinking SSR2. Will I have to follow that with SSR1 or will it clean the paint w/o leaving swirls? I can usually use PS2 Paint cleanser, but I think there is too much in this case. I have the PC 7424, what pad should I use. I have a couple edge White and couple edge blue.

Thanks!!

Start with clay.
Then move to a cleaning polish like AIO or PPP, using your white polishing pad. You may have to go over your car a few times. Take your time.

I would start out with SSR1 and that blue edge pad . ( blue is polishing , white is finishing ) That combo should work for you if not step up to the SSR2 . Either of those products are capible of doing what you need done without having to buy something new. Claying the car might even get rid of most of your problems. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
