Hey guys,
What does everyone use to get rid of the smell of water? My spolier leaks into the truck and the smell comes into the interior. Whats a good product to get rid of the raunchy smell?

Thanks,

If it's carpeted you should take that carpet out and use some APC and some hot water to remove any mildew then let it dry out for a couple of days before putting it back into the trunk. If the spoiler is causing the problem, you may want to seal the areas around where it is attached to the trunk to make sure that water cannot get in through the holes. Prevent the problem from happening in the future.

Pontiac Grand Prixs from 1997 on were notorious for leaking spoilers.
One of the popular fixes was was removing and remounting the spoiler with hose washers around the mounting bolts. The washers are available in several colors and aren't usually too noticeable.
It seals the bolt holes and also elevates the spoiler a small amount so water is less likely to be trapped under it.
That may not work on your truck, but it might be worth considering.
You may have some rust to contend with as well as the odor.

Thanks guy's,
We went from snow to rain, when the rain stops i'll take off the spoiler and remount it with rubber washers and see if it fix's the problem.

Thanks,

You'll probably want to use a bleach / water mix on the interior of the trunk after the carpeting is removed. That will kill off any mold in the tight cracks and seams in the trunk.
