Washing after Jet Seal?

I recently got a bottle of Jet Seal and used on few of my clients cars. I was able to wash one today for the first time after applying Jet Seal. It was a pearl white Lexus LS 430. What I'm wondering is how the water reacts when rinsing? I didn't any beads, but more of a slight sheeting action. I know sealants don't bead like carnuba, but I expecting more. I only did one coat of Jet Seal because I was short on time. After trying the car the finish felt grabby. The look was still amazing, but I wish it of remained slick. I use CG citrus was via foam gun. Could I of removed all Jet Seal? Any ideas? I'm not bashing just wondering. I love this stuff just worried I did something wrong.

How much Citrus Gloss did you use? If you used too much, its possible you created a total auto wash and removed everything on the car. Please clarify how much CG you used.

I noted that rinsing after washing with CG Citrus will sheet the water, like with PB SSS, and the drying time is longer due to this effect.

I have a foam cannon sorta like the one Shady has....and I found that the strong mixes and the shaving creme type foam and long dwell times some use does cause some degradation to the LSP...Its a soap..a cleaner...the stronger the mix and long dwell time it will react to the finish...

Just like any cleaner...the longer dwell time is need to clean and the ratios vary for the situation of cleaning needed......

I use the foamer for prep washes and a after polishing wash if dusting was present...

I did an experiment a while back to get this conclusion....

I washed one side of the car with the foam gun...used 2oz of the citrus wash in the tank...let it sit while I bucket washed the othe side....1/2 oz to 2 1/2 gallons of water...after washing I rinsed and dried....I found the bucket washed side wash still slick from the LSP used and the foamed side was not slick...had that fresh polished feel...squeaky clean but not velvety slick like the bucket side...so to me the foam soap ratio and dwell time did something to the LSP....

That was my observations....

I had the same experience with Jetseal. I used a single layer on my wife's car. When I washed it a week later, the water was sheeting exactly as you describe.

Me too, I've noticed the same on 2 cars that I've applied JS to, both have 3 applications. Although they look great, I'm a little put off with this as the cars are a little harder to dry and I'm worried about durability.

I'm contemplating trying DG105, any opinions on this v. JS?
