Man did it feel good. The weather got up to about 46F, and that was good enough. It was sort of funny to squeeze between the car and the 15" wall of snow bordering the driveway to wash. I'm sure the car will get salty and crappy again, but it just felt good to get it off even for a short while. I think I'll slap some #26 on the car for good measure, and some SG on the wheels. At least that way there is some longer-term good from the wash.
I've also given up on the distilled water trick. It just didn't work very well. There was always some spotting left, and it was much harder to dry the car since the sprayer didn't sheet. So now I'll just use the distilled water for wiping things down (like the interior) and for diluting stuff like Engine Kote. Oh well...
