Washed Fiat before the Cold Front Hits

Quick wash before the cold weather hits. Okay, cold for Dallas I mean. We have had a spat of unusually warm weather. We have a high today of 71 dropping to a low tonight of 33.

So yesterday I thought I should get in a wash before the cold weather hit and I wanted to install my new Door Sills.

Wash:
2 buckets
Last of my PB SSS w Wax

I bought some PB Bird Sh#t remover and before washing I had a little bird present on the roof. I gave it a squirt waited a few moments and hit with the hose. Bird Sh#t remover worked well!

The wheels were not very dirty so I just sprayed on Sonax wheel cleaner and the wells with Amazing Roll off. After I soaped up the car I rinsed off the wheels with a strong spray from the hose.

Interior was cleaned with Sonax Dashboard cleaner and PB NL.

Final step was PB BnB on tires and PB QD+ on the car.

Before installing the door sills I wiped the area with Isopropyl Alcohol. My photo of the door sills did not come out so well, but hopefully you get the idea, The red 500 looks really good with the red seats.

I have also added a few other enhancements. A red leather rear hatch strap (original is a small nylon web), a cargo tray, a rear bumper guard and a racing stripe.

I'm in the process if bringing all my stuff back inside from the garage. Felt amazing outside today in South TX, and with it being TX weather i'm sure its going to be a horrible day tomorrow lol.

Love New Braunfels! Used to go every summer when I was a kid long before the Slitterbaun and all the commercialization.

I washed my truck yesterday. It got cool on me by the time I finished. I had a little snow sitting on it this morning when I left for work.

Crazy how we can wear shorts and tshirts one day and it shows the next.

I did a rinseless on my truck and coat of my new pinnacle liquid wax in my garage Saturday, after all it was a balmy 39 degrees here in Iowa. Then when we went to dinner, it snowed on us. Just my luck.

Very nice work! :bigups

It's great to wash your car or truck at 70 degrees. It's almost the perfect temperature to do just about anything except for downhill skiing or building a snowman... :bigups

So you live in Texas and are worried about a cold front huh? On the bright side your cold fronts are short lived with the air rewarming in two or three days.

Bottle some of that warm air and see it, or give it, to those less fortunate that must endure several months of harsh weather only dreaming about a sunny, warm 70 degree day....:bigups

Looks great, the red 500 logo on the sills is a nice touch. I would love to get a Abarth. Really love those red seats.

I'm up North in Amarillo, 37 right now. brrrrrrr

nicely done! I have a Fiat Abarth myself, but it looks like this is the sport edition.

I really wanted the Abarth! But for numerous reasons I settled for the Sport. I think I should have waited a month and gotten the Turbo. But the Sport is good. The plan is to give it to my son in 5 years when he starts driving. Then get something else.

Nice work!

Can you stop it with the talk of washing your car at those balmy temps, I am going into to withdrawals and have to settle on rinseless washing and don't like it, LOL. Northern MN this morning at 6:20am, garage (insulated not heated) temp 19F. Back car out of garage, idled about 2 minutes reading now 9F, drove through town to highway, now reading is -15F, got on highway heading to work, reading now -22F. Now let me see you break out the t-shirt, shorts, the hose and 2 buckets! :rofl:lol2::lmfao

Now THAT is cold! We are spoiled here in TX. The cold front drops us to freezing which is a big deal here! New coverage telling everyone to drip their faucets, bring the pets in and cover your plants! :lol2:

Cold is a relative term and what we're used to experiencing....:bigups

Nice looking car there! I really like how the new Fiat's look, fact if I was looking for something like it I'd pick up a 5spd version in a heartbeat!
