Its getting cold in NJ and there is no way i am washing the car outside. So, I'll do it in the garage. WHat are your methods or procedures of washing the car in the garage(if you do)? I did it once and used three buckets. One with the shampoo, another with water so i can dip the mitt to clean off the dirt and another bucket of water to pour the water over the car to wash off the suds.

I use Protect all car wash in the garage all the time.
You just put a few cap fulls in a gallon of water and wash , than dry with your drying material.
I keep my car and truck looking better than showroom this carwash makes it easy.
If its real dirty or muddy you can't do it but when its just dirty it works great.
When I first used it I thought it was BS but after using it once I was sold.
I'm not connected with them just have had good luck using their products, first on my trailer and boat and now on my truck and car.
Hope this helps

If its really cold, meaning below 32F, I will rinse the bulk of the crap off the car while parked outside. Then I put the car inside, wash quickly, put the car outside for a final and thorough rinse. Then I put the car back in the garage, fire up my heater and dry the car.

Also, a set of Playtex (extra large, found at your local grocery store) dishwashing gloves is a real asset at this time of the year!
