was wondering if anybody noticed this either?

I used to work for a header company, and besides the obvious copying of other header designs they engaged in some other shady work....The funniest thing was when we would get a shipment of headers in, I would grab the pliers and flat head screw driver, and as we took each header out of the box we would pull off the tac welded logo of the company, and place the header in another box to send it off to get coated and have one of our badges put on it. Of course we sold it for twice the price too....What a joke, but thats what happens in business sometimes.

my quote: maybe they will smarten up and read some of these posts and see the average Joe can be pretty smart at times lol!

your quote: Reps from many big companies read these forums. "Joe Shmoe is by no means smart for presuming something". If that was the case, then the serious readers and writers of Star, Globe, and Enquirer would be geniuses "Joe is smart for actually find a fact about it "

so what are you trying to imply in the quotations, that I am dumb and have not done my research?

That is offensive and comments like that will cause people to say the heck with this place, not worth it!

Absolutely not, I apologize. I would never call someone I don't know stupid ;) Just stating that people can make all the assumptions they wish to, but it doesn't have any validity until proven.

Please, don't let any one person's comments keep you from learning on Autopia. There have been a few users who, while not directly to me, have not been the most polite. I just don't read their posts.

Sorry again :wavey

MongooseGA , thanks for taking the time to clear that up. guess I was wrong with your statements and did not mean to jump on anybody.just seems like this post kind of went off the deep end with some of the comments. I did not intend to have anything to prove. I wanted to see if anybody felt like I did, be it correct or incorrect and by all means do not see myself as a mister know it all.guess it is the usual case of the stuff I see all the time at my work. an e-mail is sent out and somewhere somehow it gets taken out of context. this is what I always preach to my kids be honest and always talk out any problems people may have with you. most of the time things get twisted in the wrong context maybe I need to have them remind me of my advice. hope I am a better dad than my last post would indicate

WELL ATLEAST YOU DIDN'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS AND USE LOTS OF *$&#@( SYMBOLS TO REPRESNTS WORDS TO SHOW YOUR ANGER!!!!!! ;)

Autopia is all about being able to chat :)

MongooseGA, no anger here ,I see enough of that when people are e-mailing me at work, looking for a favor or help and they do not realize that they are yelling at you ( typing in all caps) I do like to chat and get peoples takes on produts or hear their opinions. that is what makes our country so great. I just hate when I am hasty. my brother says " I have the patience of a rock " sure helps when detailing or one of my other interests such as Golf,

Mmm, yes, especially the one from Overhaulin'.

Ah yes, the lovely Courtney Hansen. She is going to be at the Dallas Autorama on Saturday....for once, I am hoping for rain! I read in FHM that she says "I'd rather date a guy who owns a '71 Chevelle than a 2004 Mercedes SL...why did I have to sell my 1971 Chevelle!
