Wanted : Polisher in Belgium

Yes, of course! European market products, no need of adapters and the pads will fit.



It is better to order pads from the US however. More choices, more interesting solutions (double side, quick connector, etc.).

I found some very interesting polishers that will work on 220 volts and can work as a rotary and orbital !



Can somebody post a detailed pic of the backingplate of a SFX or DAS pad kit to see if it will fit ?
 
Mark, yup, the Edge system is quite user friendly.



Wally, the polishers you mentioned are basically dual action units with a forced rotation mode. The rotary mode is quite slow (<700 RPM) that's why they are relatively safe. The average pad throw is around 5 mm, and yes, they are very useful.

There are four major players; such as the Makita BO6040, the Bosch GEX150 Turbo, the Festool Rotex RO150E and the Kress 900MPS. There are 2-3 other but they are basically rebranded Kresses. Lightest is the Festool, quietest is the Makita 85 @ dBA, while the other can reach up to 92 dBA. Personal preferences rule!
