Wanna see a $12,000 paint job....?

I work part time for a shop were paint jobs start at $10,000. They are a restoration shop that works on Ferraries, Rolls Royces etc. They also work on antique cars and 60s muscle cars. When they do a car they take the glass out and paint the doors ,hood and trunk off the car. The guy that color sands and buffs the new paint takes 3 days to do it.

That GTO is Sweet!

It's car's like that i don't often see, but when I do, they are usually out for Sunday drive, These cars are dangerous on the road, I couldn't count how many time I also crashed, starring in amazement.

My friend told the painter he wanted the absolute perfect paint job and he was willing to pay for it.

Nice looking job from here. Here's one closer to $20,000.

The truck was fully assembled as you see it to check for fit. Then it was completely disassembled and each piece was painted individually. It was then reassembled. My son isn't saying exactly how much he paid for the paint job, but he doesn't flinch when I tell him I think it's much closer to $20K than the $10K+ he's hinting at. I saw the pieces hanging in the paint booth and little bits and pieces of conversation tend to support the fact that $20K isn't far off.
