WalMart MF "detailing" towels?

"You get what you pay for" applies here. The towels you get from wal, K, Tar, etc you have no idea the thickness, strands per sq. in., etc. The towels I use I know exactly what I am getting. JMHO

With out a doubt the best microfiber towels I have used (and I have used many) are

ULTRA-PLUSH SUPER PREMIUM MICROBIFER MICRO-BANDED 8.75mm THICK SUPRA MICROFIBER TOWEL16" x16" from chemical guys. You can buy a 12 pack.

Ultra Elite Towels If you buy them and don't like them, I will buy them from you.

Are they Ultra Elite Towels? Hold one of those and a WW towel. Now feel the weight difference. Look at the stiching and fibers per sq. in. I have WW, KM, TAR, towels and they are used for tires and unimportant detailing.

if i wanted a real plush mf towel, the eurow shag towels are just like the monster fluffies and are thicker than any mf towel i own (cheaper in price than the CG's). for $15.90 a 10pk, it's a deal that can't be touched. glad you like the CG mf towels, i probably won't buy them again. to each his or her own...

Hi BigAl, your right to each his own. I have some Monster Fluffy's but they are to much. The reason I like CG's towels is they are the right thickness for me. They have a soft side and the other side is not as soft. So they can be used for drying, removing hardened products, buffing, applying, etc. etc...... This is all my opinion. I don't know it all.

Do a yahoo search for.....Microfiber 300,000 strands........see what comes up.

Hey, I may even try Eurow shags. Regards...

My CG towels (same as pictured above) are a joke. I use them for tires, trim, and the like. I strongly recommend against them. They fail the CD test utterly. What a waste of money.

My Adam's Super-Plush Microfiber Towels flat out rock! Highly recommended. Stickers come right off, they never scratch, and are as fluffy as I have found. Best in class IMO. Good size and nice edges too.

You definitely don't have the towels I have. My 36+ must have came from a different batch. I have used almost every towel out there. But I haven't used Adam's. Maybe I'll give it a try KnuckleBuckett. Thanks for the input.

that doesn't always mean anything. i have some AG super plush deluxe cobras (vikings too) and they are alot nicer than the CG's, and have fewer strands. not to mention... they are softer, plusher, etc. i also have some 403 gm and 360 gm mf towels, and the ones with the fewer grams are softer, etc, and you would think it would be the opposite....
