Wal-Mart's MICROTEX MF Towels

Those cosco ones i love. Like those more then the target ones. I need to get another package. Target was all sold out of the vroom stuff.

I think that virtually all the stuff sold today is at least "acceptable" quality -- OK, maybe for a few bucks more you get 200,000 fibers/inch from our detail sponsors as opposed to 50,000 - 100,000 for the cheaper stuff -- but even the latter is OK to use on most of our cars.

Hey, you got an expensive car or a brand new one (even a Civic-type like mine) you're gonna probably go for the towels that are a bit more expensive like the Cobra or PAC ones that can cost a buck or two each. 5-10 year old car? You're probably not gonna do any damage with a 2nd-tier MF towel even if it had a flaw or two.

The quality on these things today has gone up alot in the last few years. Whereas 5 years ago, the "junky" ones had to be avoided at all costs, today's "junky" ones are as good as the premium ones from a few years ago.

Best thing to do is FEEL them. If the ones in the stores feel as good with that special "rough, grabbing" action that new ones from PAC or Autogeek do, then you're OK.
