Wal-Mart MF - 8 pack "Detailer's Best" (Hometex), 14x14, 70/30, $4.86 - any good?

The strength of any economy is its ability to provide goods. Where our economy is moving to is that of a third world nation, as racingbeat said. Wait 20-30 more years and you'll see. BTW, where is that guy you went to HS with who has an IQ of 85 going to work? As a professional designer?

I think producing goods may be too narrow of a definition but GDP growth has been terrific the past 2 years so we are firing on all cylinders there.

If one does not have a college education, one will themselves in a pickle but overall a more educated workforce will earnmore in real takehome pay and have a good and steadily getting better lifestyle.

[Mods: does it make sense to take out the economic discussion and put in a thread in Off-Topic area?]

When was that? If you can narrow it down to a year, I can probably find it.

Too long ago for me to be that specific. I want to say '86, but it could be +/- 3 years - we're talking 20 years ago, so it's difficult for me to accurately remember when. 52 issues a year, that's a lot to search through. I would if I could, but no library around here carries them back that far. In a magazine that covers "the bleeding edge," 5 years is ancient history.

For a long time, I read every issue, but haven't bothered to crack open a copy in the last 7 years. Ever since I got a rejection letter for a "letter to the editor" that I wrote. When I realized that they were an industry organ, and not interested in factual news reporting, I completely lost interest in them, and all other McGraw-Hill publications.

"if you haven't noticed there is a war going on. One that has caused more maimed and amputated then the whole of the Viet Nam war. Stop supporting our enemies. China is no Ally. Its the least you can do for our troops. Our boys and girls are fighting our enemies abroad while we send China our dollars for MF towels at home. "

Stick to the damn topic at hand.

If you want to talk politics, post a thread in the Hot Tub forum. Other than that, lay off.

hah, I was kind of laughing at that (although I do find the discussion interesting despite my newly-hijacked thread...)

My 15 16x24 elites and a few others shipped from MFTech, anyway. :)

It's hard for people to get a college education when state/federal money keeps getting cut. More tax breaks equalling higher education costs...oh happy day. That'll really help to get the public educated.
