Vroom?!

Today I decided to go to Target with my girlfriend and she hesitantly asked "do you want to look at the car stuff". Of course I had to say "duh"! Well as I got to the aisle I noticed some new looking bottles and at first I thought it was the new Mothers products, but it wasnt. It was some stuff called VROOM. They had a tire dressing, interior protectant, car wash, window cleaner, window cleaner wipes and protectant wipes. They also had a nice looking sponge that was microfiber on one side and on the other side that netting stuff that you use to clean bugs off with. All the products were very nicely packaged and look to be of quality. I didnt get to pick any up because I didnt take my wallet inside and my girlfriend was using a giftcard and promised me if there was enough money left on it I could get some stuff, but you know how women are...they will spend every last dime.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone has tried theses products out?

saw those tonight-the chenille wash mitt was pretty thick-hopefully it's better than the BAjA SOL mitt- that mitt held dirt and wouldn't release it -the orange interior detailer spray looked interesting

I was just about to post about this same thing....!

It does 'look' pretty good. I wonder who is making it...? You think Mothers? For $17 for the whole kit, it might be worth checking out!

Yea next time I go back up there (about 40 miles away from me) ill make sure I pick up one of everything. I wished I would have read the bottle more about who produces it and such. I searched for a VROOM website but no luck.

Next time anyone is in a Target...look at the address of the manufacturer. If its made somewhere in Minnesota, then it could very well be a Target brand. They make their own Fabreze, so maybe they have seen a great opportunity with car care products.

I was at Target yesterday and saw the Vroom line. The chenille wash mitt didn't look too bad and I think I read that the company was based in Califormia. I didn't buy any of the stuff, I don't need any of it and it really didn't strike a cord of interest.

Interesting thread. My local Target is darn near wiped out of every car care supply. They have a lot of their accessories on clearance.

Maybe they're making room for new products including this Vroom.

40 miles? Ugh, what a hike to go to a Target!

I'm gonna bump this back from the dead. I was at target recently and purchased one of the Vroom brand sheepskin washmitts. It's very plush and dense and is not stitched together from pieces like some of the cheap-os. I ws gonna pick up one of their chenille washmitts but it's really funny looking, like someone gave a towel dread locks. the also had a very fluffy and dense 70/30 MF drying towel but it wasn't WW. It was made in Indonesisa?

Anyone have any thing to say about these products?

I was at Target yesterday, and picked up the "premium" chenille washmitt that Vroom offers. It doesn't feel terribly soft to me, I'll see how it feels after i rinse it out really well. If anything, I'll use it for wheels/wheelwells. The product selection at the store I visited (Lewisville, TX) was somewhat slim, almost like they hadn't gotten everything in yet - I'll have to check back later. I'll also post my observations of the washmitt after I get a chance to use it tonight.

Target has went to crap with Auto accessories, for a month or more they hardly had anything. Shame cause I like getting my groceries there instead of wally world, I am so torn :(!

But the funny thing is that George Foreman is branching out, he now has auto cleaning products called George Foreman Knockout:D .

It looks like Target only wants to sell the 'Vroom' brand of car products. Since I don't want to be a guinea pig I won't be doing much buying at Target. I'd rather stick to products that are known to be good.

I think for chain stores your better off going to PepBoys if you have one local-although targets WW MF in the households section is nice

The Target near me has mega square footage and not enough auto supplies total to fill up an SUV ! I wonder what gives with thier buyers. A couple Mothers items, Some Meguires, a bunch of this and that Misc- junk ! Weird retailing ! My local store is so sad, I cant even find Vroom products ! :sosad

Just used my new Vroom Sheepskin washmitt! It's nice, very soft and plush. I'd recomend it. In fact looking at the one Autopia sells at its car-care site, i think it's the same one. Looks very similar and the cuff is exactly the same.

In comparison to the Eurow ones they sell at Wal-mart, the Vroom one is easily double as plush.

I purchased a vroom sheepskin wash mitt today at Target. Just by looking at it, it looks the same as the baja sola brand except it now has a thumb. I would prefer not to have a mitt with a thumb, but oh well. I knew I should have bought a bunch of the baja sol mitts when they were on clearance.
