Anthony, Are you planing on re-conditioning the cracked leather? I am trying out some leather re-conditioning/ resurfacing products this week. I'll e-mail you the results (pics) I get with these products. I have not tried them out yet but the company is very confident in their product. Good Luck on that nasty Volvo !!!

Before we know it autopia will feel like the good 'ol days back before this site was so corporate-like :clap:



Just makes me realize how long I've been on here -- and all the huge number of changes I've watched happen in that time :scared:

I plan on having the driver seat refinished as it is just sad....and the others seats I will use Leatherique on them. Please let me (us) know how your product works out thoughh as I am always interested in something new and better :)

I detailed cars for people, as well as, a local car dealership when I was in high school. My skills are well below the vast majority of people on this site, but I paid attention to the details. I often was presented with cars that looked like the cars from earlier in the thread, and what I would sometimes do was take the interior out except for the dash. I would then take the carpets and sometimes the seats to the local powerwash car wash to clean them. It would usually take a couple of days to dry before I could put the car back together, but the results were almost always incredible.
 
Still coming.....the doctor has had to drive the car due to family issues and their other car.



I have the interior almost done and I am sure I'll need to spruce it up some when I get it back but I'll take AFTER pics of it and post those up then on to the exterior.



I'll post up the BEFORE shots of the paint and such also.

Last I heard, Anthony got lost and devoured somewhere in the interior. The police are still searching for him, but it doesn't look too good.

ha, thats funny i've seen some bad ones but i don't know about the whole power washing. who has time to wait for all that stuff to dry.

I apologize for not responding sooner but I upgraded some computer thingies and my SATA drive was giving me some problems (BIOS related) so I couldn't log on. All is well now.



This Volvo owner and I are having a very difficult time getting our schedules to agree, hence the reason why I have not completed it. I am at the moment booked up for about 3 weeks out, I have 2 car shows coming up where my clients want to enter a Porsche Turbo and also a Corvette and that's time consuming because I only have Monday and Tuesdays set aside for detail work, Wed thru Fri I do my regular washes and Saturday is kinda like a "what-ever-comes-along" day. So hopefully we can finish this extreme makeover soon!!

Yea....Monday the 17th he will bring it to me at a local hospital and I'll finish it up.



He had to drive it alot so I am sure all the work I did in the interior is shot and I'll have to do it over.



I'll be sure to post up some pictures.

Well I finished this beast today but I won't have any AFTER pics until Thursday. The Doc had to leave so I was unable to get any pics (plus I need to touch up a few things anyways) but he said he will drop it off again Thursday.



So I hope to have some AFTER pics then. It came out pretty nice....and he's happy so that's the most important thing :)
