Here is pix of a single stage 1988 Volvo 740 I did today.

It had swirls and minor oxidization. I did the following

1) wash

2) clay

3) AIO on a white pad and this lifted the oxidization and 99% of the swirls.

4) SG x 1 by hand.

This car is owned by the lady that had me do her red Jetta a few weeks back.

The car has 4 rock chips and a scrape on the spoiler .. Such abuse. Also has - 35,000 miles.

Wow, looks incredible for an '88! My dad had a 1987 740 Turbo that looked nowhere near as nice. What did you use on the trim?

damn is it me or is klasse AIO a detailer's gift by god. i gotta get ME hands on the precious. :D

seems as though it works greater with cars that are hardly tooken care of.

nice detail job!

four rock chips and a scrape on the spoiler would happen to a car if it was parked in a garage since 88, if that car was a casual driver, with 35k miles on it, seems logical, but to have that little miles and damage on an '88!!! damn!!

I remember one of my first cars was a 87 pontiac 6000, I thought that thing ran 4ever, we put it to sleep when it was 13, close to 300k "canadian" kms. Our roads are covered in salt in the winter, making the cars rust to hell, and not last long at all. I was in Anaheim last year for business and I couldn't believe the ammount of VW bugs and 80's type cars that were still everyday drivers..BLEW MY MIND!! thoes cars are 1 in 1000 in canada. The ones that are in good condition won't be seen that much due to lack of good weather and the ones you do see are barely holding together..

Props on the cleaning jab to you , and hats off to the owner for keeping it in such good condition..
