VM + EXP by hand

Paint looks great! Very wet and glossy!

At least your wheels don't stick out 6" from the fenders like I see around here. ;)

Thanks Scott! I was looking at your pictures this morning and debating if I should even post these. Your pictures & obviously your work are just out of this world!

Wheels - My favorite place in the world is Scottsdale AZ and visit when I can. I see some of those kind of cars there but in New Mexico? There are so many of them, and many times it is clear that the suspension work alone costs more then the car itself. But as I always say - he/she paid for it, so who am I to say anything?

Amazing work!

Very wet and a large amount of gloss throughout.

I'm a fan of the wheels since my suitemate from college last year explained the whole euro thing to me (he owns 2 GTI's).

I want to redo it with the pc and add #16 on top.

People either like the staggered look or hate it. What kind of VWs does your friend has?

here is another picture.

LOL, listening to all the crap you get about those tires has got to get old. I'd post a disclaimer "Yes, the rear tires look strange. Yes I know that, and yes it is supposed to be that way". :D

simply perfect

great job on the detail, and be sure to update with pics after the #16...oh and you need to realize at some point, that you'll probably never be satisfied with the finish

nice.. so far yours is the only "wet looking" EX-P finished car I've seen.. all the others have been the "salad oil" look..

Those are very kind words, thanks. Unfortunately the camera hides many imperfections. My issue is with the remaining swirls and water spots. Maybe one of these I get a chance to detail my car starting in the morning so I can see what I am doing. Actually I will redo vw/exp with the pc then # 16 and IHG just to see what it will look like.

could you get a close up pic w/ sun in it? Any swirl remover before the VM/EXP? thanks.

the car has more fine swirls then I care to share. When I redo the car with the pc, I will go over the car with ip first and I'll take sume close up pictures.

You did a good job for applying by hand. But I would look for a new set of wheels if you want the car too look good other then that between the paint and the wheels your car stands out well.

thanks NNives - to me the car looks good, but if you are willing to pay for a set of wheels/tires I will replace them even if I didn't like my car afterwards. Deal?

You can't be serious. Whoa, whatever happen to people doing what THEY want? Get a life. :down

I wouldn't be anxious to buy you a new set of wheels. Its your job to look good not mine. I was just giving you some good advice. But you did do a great job on the paint I give you that.

You sure are full of good advise! The car looks good to me, and looks a lot better in person.

When you start eating according to what I think you should eat, (guaranteed to make you feel much healthier) I will buy new wheels. Deal?

You should change your username - just trying to help you.

Well the NNives stands for Nick Niver (that is my given birth name) I have a reason for making that my user name, but thank you for your advise I may change it to NNiver.
